MERC Mission and Membership
The mission of the Massachusetts Educational Recruiting Consortium (MERC) is to bring together employers from across the United States and internationally with undergraduate and graduate students and alumni/ae from member institutions for the following purposes: networking, interviewing and job search.
The Consortium, made up of representatives from colleges and universities throughout Massachusetts, hosts at its yearly fair students and alumni of MERC member public and private educational institutions. Teacher candidates and education services candidates including counselors, administrators, speech therapists, and social workers from the participating colleges and universities are encouraged to attend.
MERC welcomes colleges and universities throughout Massachusetts to join the Consortium. Membership form and dues are required if your institution plans to send students/alumni to the MERC Education Career Fair and to remain an active member for the year.
