Bigelow Cooperative Childcare Center (MA)

Bigelow Cooperative Daycare Center is an independent, nonprofit early childhood learning program located in Somerville, MA. We believe that children are competent, capable learners and that teachers and families are important partners in learning. We focus on citizenship and building a community of learners through our emergent curriculum that features a nurturing, play-based approach stemming from the children’s interests. As a cooperative, our school benefits from both an outstanding group of teachers and the full commitment of our dedicated families. Our center serves children between the ages of 3 months and 5 years and includes an on-site indoor and outdoor play-space.
